User Terms - Clauses - Last Updated 29th May 2024.

Introduction.

You have been provided access to SEEDL via a system administrator, on behalf of an organisation who is granting you access. These terms provide information for your understanding of our User Terms.

Acceptance of Terms: By accessing and using SEEDL, you agree to comply with and be bound by these User Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.

Account Registration: You have had an account created (or will be registering) to access certain features of the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. By having an account on SEEDL, whether personally opened or by addition from a system administrator, you acknowledge that an administrator (typically your employer or a 3rd party organisation) has access to your information (less secure data such as passwords) to enable them to mandate, report, and facilitate learning records.

User Conduct: Users must not engage in any activity on the platform that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

Intellectual Property: All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SEEDL, the organisation providing you access to it, or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not record, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without explicit permission. Any contributions you make on feedback surveys, chat box interactions, Q&A submissions, polls; whether written, verbal, or other communication methods submitted to SEEDL (removing any identifiable personal characteristics), become intellectual property of SEEDL. You give unlimited rights to us to reproduce those submissions (anonymised) for marketing purposes or to create material to support future learners.

Privacy and Data Protection: SEEDL respects your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Termination of Access: SEEDL reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violations of these User Terms or for any other reason deemed necessary. The owner of your platform, for example your employer, or business acting on behalf of SEEDL may also revoke your access.

Disclaimer of Warranties: The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." SEEDL makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the platform's operation or availability.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall SEEDL be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.

Learning Information Disclaimer: The courses and materials provided by SEEDL are for informational and educational purposes only. SEEDL does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided. Users are responsible for their own actions and decisions based on the information learned from SEEDL courses. SEEDL shall not be held professionally liable for any actions taken by users as a result of participating in our courses.

Governing Law: These User Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England (UK).

Changes to User Terms: SEEDL reserves the right to update or modify these User Terms at any time without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review the terms periodically within SEEDL.com.
