Administrator Terms

Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator Clauses - Last updated 07/12/2023.

Introduction. You have been provided access to SEEDL via a system administrator, a partner acting on behalf of SEEDL, or on behalf of an organisation who is granting you access. These terms provide information for your understanding of our User Administrator Terms.

  1. Administrator Access:
    1. Grant of Access: SEEDL grants designated administrators access to the Learning Management System ("LMS") for the purpose of managing user information, assigning courses, and evaluating system usage and effectiveness.
    2. Authorized Personnel: SEEDL or an approved Channel Partner shall designate individuals as LMS administrators. SEEDL relies on its client or its Channel Partner to ensure that only authorised personnel have access to the LMS.
    3. Security Measures: Client or Channel Partner agrees to implement and maintain reasonable security measures to protect administrator credentials and prevent unauthorized access to the LMS.
  2. User Information:
    1. Access to User Data: LMS administrators will have access to user information stored within the system, including but not limited to user profiles, progress, and completion records.
    2. Confidentiality Obligation: LMS administrators shall treat user information as confidential and shall not disclose or use such information for purposes other than managing the LMS.
  3. Course Management:
    1. Assignment and Mandate: LMS administrators are authorized to assign courses to users and mandate specific training based on organizational requirements.
    2. Course Progress Monitoring: LMS administrators can monitor the progress of users within assigned courses, track completion rates, and generate reports to assess overall training effectiveness.
  4. System Usage and Effectiveness:
    1. Usage Analysis: LMS administrators have the authority to analyze system usage patterns to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and enhance the overall user experience.
    2. System Customization: SEEDL may provide LMS administrators with tools to customize certain aspects of the system to align with the Channel Partner's specific training objectives and reporting needs.
  5. Data Visibility:
    1. Data Visibility: LMS administrators will have visibility into aggregated, anonymized data related to user engagement, course completion rates, and other metrics relevant to system performance.
    2. Use for Improvement: SEEDL encourages LMS administrators to utilize data insights for continuous improvement, tailoring training programs, and enhancing the learning experience.
  6. Data Protection and Privacy:
    1. Compliance: LMS administrators shall comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations, ensuring the secure handling and processing of user data within the LMS.
    2. Data Retention: LMS administrators shall adhere to SEEDL's data retention policies and promptly delete any unnecessary user information in accordance with privacy regulations.
