Understanding and Looking after your Mental Health

In a 2020 study, 67% of managers felt that their organisation did not provide any or enough mental health support: how can we create an accepting work environment, where mental wellness is taken seriously? This session explores the most common mental health problems faced in the workplace, how to identify them and how, as a manager, you can help and signpost employees effectively. 

Objective: 

To give managers an understanding of the most prevalent mental health conditions facing employees today and how they can make the workplace more conducive to maintaining good mental health. 

Agenda: 

Understanding what is meant by “mental health”;
Why maintenance of good mental health is so important for the organisation; 
Understand and identify common mental health conditions;
Developing mental health policies in the workplace.
